Speed Scrap with Connie Prince over @ SBB

Boy, that girl (Connie) gets around! Again, the chat was fast, furious and fun(ny).

I used the kit, On The Hunt, a collab by Litabells Designs and Captivated Visions.

Speed Scrap with Connie Prince @ Gotta Pixel

For tonight's layout, I used the kit, Falling, by Litabells Designs. I was fortunate to have been picked by random.org as the winner of this beautiful kit and I just wanted to say thank you to Lita. The colours in this kit are just gorgeous.

Aren't these lovely little ladies just beautiful? Of course, I'm totally biased, but that's okay!

Another challenge completed

This one is entitled Scraplift with a Twist challenge and is hosted this month by Isabel Mendez at Gotta Pixel.
It was a really fun template to work with as Isabel had taken two separate layouts and created one template for us and I love the final produce. Thank you Isabel.

These are pictures taken during Phil's vacation earlier this month up on Manitoulin Island. It's a yearly family get-together for Kristyn's family and it sure looks like they have a lot of fun!

I used the kit, An Orchard Harvest by Graham Like the Cracker.

Speed Scrap with Mary

Mary is on the CT for Sweet Digi Scraps and yesterday she hosted her very first speed scrap. YAY! Mary! She did a great job and you can see the instructions here in post #14. Here's my LO following the directions:

I don't know why Owen is covering his eyes, but James seems to be telling him it's okay to look now. I will ask James next time I speak with him.

I used the kit, Photo Shoot, by Sweet Digi Scraps, but the stitches are from Spoonful by Isabel Mendez.

Speed Scrap with Connie Prince @ Gotta Pixel

Here are the instructions. Here is my layout.

My grandson, Owen, started school yesterday. I love his uniform for school and the briefcase. He's adorable! But where did the time go? In the blink of an eye, he's off to school! I can't believe it.

I used the kit, School Daze, by Litabell Designs.

**NEW** Word Art Challenge by Jennifer

This is a new challenge at Gotta Pixel and is hosted by Jennifer of Word Art World. Jennifer provides the word art, FREE, and we create a layout of our choosing incorporating said word art into the design. Super duper easy!

Here's my layout, starring, of course, one of my grandchildren, James. I love his little face, he's so cute I could just eat him up. When he talks to me on the telephone, his British accent just melts my heart!

I used the kit, Those Moments, by Isabel Mendez. It is a Pixel Club Exclusive and can be yours, too, just by joining the club and having access to thousands and thousands of great products from the designers at Gotta Pixel. Don't wait, go check it out now. Here's the scoop!

Font Fever Challenge @ Gotta Pixel

Great choice of font for September, Cindy. I love it. You can see the font Fineliner Script here.

For this challenge I chose to do a two-page layout using the kit, Do It Yourself by Connie Prince. Rest assured, we did not do this by ourselves, but selected a kitchen company, Paragon Kitchens in Guelph, and they co-ordinated everything from design to completion. Thanks, Mike and also a huge thanks to Dave of Kolar Construction. When you get your website up and running, I'll link it up here. You guys are the best!

Grab Bag Challenge @ Gotta Pixel

You can see the instructions here. I chose to work with "Blue Bloods" and this is my layout for this challenge.

My grandson, James, loves his food and let's nothing stand in his way at dinner time. It's a joy to have a child who isn't picky at mealtimes.

I chose the kit, Dr. Octopus, by Connie Prince and simply.scraps.

Speed Scrap with a Twist! @ Gotta Pixel

This took place last night and you can read the instructions here. Many of us joined the chat at U-Stream and participated in a video chat. It was different, but so much fun listening to Connie's lovely southern accent. She's a Georgia girl through and through, y'all! Here's my layout.

It was created using three separate products all by Lindsay Jane:
Morning Mist Kit
Morning Mist Embossed Papers
Stitched Frames
