Scrap with a List @ Gotta Pixel

This is something new, hosted by Shawnery Mathis. We're given a list of things that must be incorporated into the layout and off we go. Here's my LO from Jan. 29th.

Here's my darling granddaughter in her car which she got for Christmas. It's not often she gets to use it because Jackson commandeers it most of the time.

I learned something new today!

I was reading the manual for my camera, a Canon PowerShot 95, (I know, I need to get a life) and discovered that it has a timer feature on it. So, in trying it out, I set it up and took a picture of DH and me. Naturally, neither of us were dressed for a special photo, but I thought we looked pretty good and so made a page of us. I'm so excited because it opens up so many possibilities! Anyway, it was made using the I Wuff You kit, same as in the post below.

Happy and Nostalgic

Everyone in these photos is having a grand ol' time. Look closely at their faces and you will see pure JOY! These were taken on Christmas Eve. I wasn't feeling too well and was quite happy to sit and photograph the happiness around me. I spent three hours in the ER on Christmas morning and was diagnosed with pneumonia, so I'm thrilled that some people were happy! Just kidding, even sick and weak, I was very happy to have all the family home for Christmas.

This is my nostalgic photo. I was participating in a challenge called Scrap with a List, hosted by Shawnery Mathis and we needed five photos. That's quite a few photos and as I began searching, these pics of Hank, our first cat, just made me want to create a page in his memory. So I did.
